Welcome to the V-Machine Wizard File Site!
Many FREE plug-ins only require a VST format .dll file. This is fine for many installations. Other plug-ins are much more detailed and require additional supporting files such as samples, Windows registry entries, preset files, etc. The VFX Application only knows how to install these more detailed plug-ins via a plug-in information wizard file (vfxinfo.txt). Each plug-in information wizard file provides information to the V-Machine such as what files to transfer during synchronisation to the V-Machine.
When importing plug-ins to the VFX Application you are prompted for two files.
1. The desired VST .dll file for installation
2. The vfxinfo.txt plug-in information wizard file (if available)

Note: The wizard file format is an evolving standard. As the platform matures improvements to the plug-in information wizard file format will be made.
