V-Rack XL - Stand Alone VST Player
NEW: The V-Rack XL basically features the same functionality as the V-Machine and V-Pedal, but this beauty takes the concept a step further. Perfect for studio or live use, the V-Rack XL is well suited for use as an outboard effects unit, multiple output synthesizer module, or even a mastering unit.
With the onboard ethernet port it's a breeze to connect V-Rack XL with your favorite DAW sequencer. A special plug-in allows you to use the V-Rack XL as a external DSP host within any sequencer software. Save host CPU power and let V-Rack XL do all the work!
The V-Rack XL features high-end AD/DA converters and offers a level of performance suitable for all professional environments.
A true chameleon, the V-Rack XL can be configured to operate as just about any outboard audio device on demand.

Software *
All SM Pro Audio V-Machines ship with a control configuration software compatible with Windows, Mac OS X and Linux (future support).
Users can load up their favorite VST/VSTi plug-ins on their computer for auditioning, sound-set creation, and bank/preset memory assignment prior to transferring to one of the V-products for stand-alone use. Simple intuitive software makes sound and effect creation a breeze.
Transferring your plug-ins to the V-Rack, couldn't be easier: A speedy USB transfer to the hardware units (via USB cable, USB stick, or USB harddrive) takes care of all required user data, memories, and of course plug-in transfer.
Once in the main unit... you have freed your plug-ins from the computer and have instant immediate access to your instrument and effect sound creations on a dedicated hardware unit.
