TubeBox: System 500 compatible Mic Preamp
The TubeBox is an API lunchbox compatible version of our popular TC01 tube preamplifier circuit. DJDI Stereo Direct Injection Box Offers Low Cost, High Performance
DJs, keyboardists, computer musicians, live sound technicians take note: SM Pro Audio’s new stereo DJDI easily and inexpensively solves the problem of converting unbalanced signals into balanced output suitable for use with mixers, PAs, recording consoles, and more. Q-DAC Multi-Source Audio I/O Controller Delivers Flexible Audio Routing in Half-Rack Format
With an eye toward providing users with sophisticated yet intuitive control over the routing of multiple audio devices in their studios, SM Pro Audio today debuted the Q-DAC Multi-Source Audio I/O Controller, a half-rack size unit that allows up to five audio sources to be routed to three independent outputs. Supported inputs include iPad/iPod/iPhone, 1/8” stereo TRS, stereo RCA, balanced 1/4” TRS, and USB; outputs include balanced XLR, unbalanced stereo RCA, and stereo headphone.
The audio source input can be selected from a front panel switch or via the included infrared remote, which can also be used to control volume and various iPod/iPad/iPhone functions. Outputs are switchable on/off independently, with volume control over the main balanced and unbalanced outputs provided via a rotary Master Volume Control; the headphone output features its own dedicated level control.
“With so many different audio platforms being used in today’s studios, auditioning playback can be a major challenge,” noted Danny Olesh, president of SM Pro Audio.

Boasting 2.4GHz operation for clear, pure sound (and compliance with the latest wireless standards), and automatic frequency selection across 32 channels to ensure dropout-free operation, the TRANZ system allows you to make a wireless connection between virtually any two audio devices that support line level signals.
The transmitter half of the TRANZ system provides L/R Balanced XLR and L/R unbalanced RCA inputs as well as a continuously variable input control to assure compatibility with virtually all signal levels. The receiver features L/R balanced XLR and L/R unbalanced RCA outputs. Both units can be powered by 9V battery or an external power supply. NEW W.A.S.P.™ Wireless In-Ear Monitor System Features Built-In Waves™ DSP Algorithms
SM Pro Audio, one of Australia’s premier designers and manufacturers of music and audio equipment, today unveiled the W.A.S.P. Wireless Audio System Processor, the world’s first wireless in-ear monitoring system to feature on-board digital signal processing capabilities designed by premier plugin manufacturer Waves. Thanks to the included Waves algorithms, W.A.S.P. users can not only enjoy the freedom of wireless monitoring, but also custom-tailor the sound of their monitors to their own taste, to a particular venue - even to a specific song.
The W.A.S.P. features a 2.4GHz design to guarantee both crystal clear sound and compatibility with the latest wireless certification standards. Reliable, drop-out free performance is ensured thanks to 32 selectable frequency bands. A built-in limiter prevents input overload distortion. And the receiver is designed to accommodate a variety of earphones, allowing users to choose a model best suited for their needs.
Unique to the W.A.S.P. are the Waves MAXX algorithms, which cover a wide range of functionality, including bass enhancement, high frequency enhancement, stereo separation, multi-band equalization, dynamics processing, and volume control. The algorithms are controlled via the included PC software, which features a simple, easy-to-operate graphic user interface. Users can create custom presets and download them directly into the W.A.S.P. or save them to a USB stick, which can then be plugged into the W.A.S.P. transmitter for instant recall.
